Teenage Pregnancy Pathway

This chapter should be read in conjunction with the LSCP Pre-Birth Protocol. This guidance is provided by the United Lincolnsire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trusts (ULTH) and is managed and updated via their governance structure.

It is important to note that teenager females who are pregnant and expectant fathers should also be considered as young people in their own right. These pathway documents provide additional support and guidance for professionals. They also highlight the importance of considering the completion of an Early Help Assessment where additional support would be of benefit to the young people and the unborn baby.
